Dr Moushumi’s Suryavanshi and her team have been instrumental in developing the Molecular lab at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research center.
She has been in past a hard core oncopathologist for 15 years with special interest in Genitourinary Pathology where she has won many laurels. She has been a part of ISUP grading committee which has given the new 2016 WHO classification for prostate cancer.

Miraculous molecular therapy has brought hope and new dimension to the existing modes of cancer therapy. Her molecular journey tough has been  fast track. This decision to switch branches was made witnessing the paradigm shift occurring in therapy of cancer patients.

She is also pursuing a PhD in Molecular & Cellular oncology. State of art facilities like Next Generation sequencing, Circulating tumor cells, Cell free DNA, Pyrosequencing, Flowcytometry, FISH and real time are have been validated and developed under her in pursuit of excellence in cancer patient care.
